The Chinese Consulate General in Denpasar, Indonesia has activated emergency response mechanism and is providing assistance to those injured.
When responding to another question asking what is China's comment on reports that a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck waters near Flores Island on August 15, killing dozens of people, and whether China would provide assistance to Indonesia, Lin said China is closely following the disaster situation. 。 8月25日消息，中科院地球环境研究所联合多家国外机构完成一项农业研究，用粪肥合理替代化肥，既能改良土壤，还可以提升粮食产量。 一直只施化肥，时间久了土壤有机质会被消耗，土壤里面各类养分比例失衡，地里微生物也没法好好发挥作用。研究团队整理全球179个站点，一共710组田间观测数据，发现粪肥可以把土壤碳、氮、磷分别提升27.8%、24.4%、29.2%，让土地肥力慢慢恢复过来。按照测算，如果在条件合适的地区推广粪肥替代，全球每年可以多产出4.82亿吨到7.08亿吨谷物，土壤碳氮磷储备也能提升26%至32，增产和养土两件事可以同时实现。但它并不是万能解法，不管时间还是地域，都有硬性条件。从时间上看，持续施用粪肥之后，农作物增产效果大约19年就会摸到天花板，可土壤养分积累要差不多30年才会完全饱和。土壤里面磷元素增幅超过72.4%之后，增产效果就会明显变弱，氮磷比下降超过26%，反而有减产风险。地域上面限制同样不小，想要拿到双赢效果，年均降水需要落在1119毫米至1237毫米区间，同时土壤本身碳氮比也要处在合适范围。
